This is the blueberry motif we will be using.

IMG_0724Print out the motif and trace it with your Sharpie.

IMG_0730Trace the image onto your fabric and hoop your fabric.

IMG_0731We’re going to start with the green thread.

IMG_0738Use the Back Stitch for each portion of the stem.

IMG_0743IMG_0746IMG_0752The motif shows two lines of stitches for the base stem.  You can do two like the motif (and I) did or you can choose to do only one.

IMG_0755If you want to be daring, you can even fill in between the two portions of the base stem.

IMG_0760Now, we’re going to move onto the Lazy Daisies.

IMG_0764I have never stitched this many Lazy Daisies before.  It was actually pretty fun!

IMG_0767IMG_0770IMG_0772Once the Lazy Daisies are done, we’ll move on to the blueberries.

IMG_0777Start with the dark blue thread and Back Stitch two of the berries at the top.

IMG_0778Stitch two more berries with the dark blue thread.

IMG_0784Finish off the blueberry bush with some light blue berries.

IMG_0950Our blueberry bush is complete!

Don’t you love it?!  I sure do!!
