Hello, hello!
It’s time for my monthly POPSUGAR Must Have review! If you follow me on Instagram, then you might’ve seen the unboxing I did in my Stories last week. I’ve started doing “first impression” style unboxings over the last few months, and y’all seem to really be enjoying them! If you want to get in on the unboxing fun, follow me on Instagram!
The October box came with a HUGE product information card! That must mean there’s tons of good stuff in the box, right? 😉
“dreamy, slumber, sleep, de-stress, cozy, bedtime” are the theme words for the month. Once you see everything that came inside, I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say that they rocked the theme this month!

Lollia Life – Dream Perfumed Shower Gel – Retail Value $22
I don’t think I’ve ever seen such pretty packaging! WOW! The navy and light gold foil are just incredible! I’m a sucker for packaging so you can bet this quickly became my favorite product from the October box.
Also, it smells fantastic!
Patchology – FlashPatch Restoring Night Eye Gels – Retail Value $20
A relaxation-themed box just wouldn’t be complete without some sort of mask! I’ve received eye gels in past boxes and think they’re a funny product. You just can’t wear them without looking goofy! 🙂
Even though they’re funny to wear, these are very nice! I’ve used one set so far and have no complaints! They stayed in place under my eyes without shifting, which is fantastic considering I was looking down and reading the entire time I wore them.
I’m going to save the other four pairs for when I’m feeling extra tired and want to give my eyes a little boost!
SNACKS!
Nature’s Bakery – Double Chocolate Brownie – Retail Value – $1.49
Chocolate brownie? Yes, Please! I’m all about the chocolate snacks.
This bar didn’t taste bad, but I didn’t think it tasted like a brownie either. There was a different kind of sweetness to it that was unlike chocolate. I just read the product information and it says it’s sweetened with dates. Perhaps that is the different flavor I’m tasting! 🙂
Quaker – Overnight Oats
I’ve been wanting to try overnight oats for the longest time! There are SO many recipes on my Pinterest board that have gone unused. Probably because I’m extra lazy!
I love how easy this Quaker cup was to prepare. All I had to do was add milk, stir, and then stick it in the fridge. When I woke up in the morning, my oats were ready to eat!
I thought the Toasted Coconut & Almond Crunch flavor was a little sweet but still good. I think I would’ve preferred the oats hot but ended up eating them cold, because I didn’t see the heating instructions until they were almost gone. Whoopsie!!
Framebridge – $30 Gift Card
If you’ve been reading my reviews for any length of time, then you know how I feel about gift cards. I don’t like it when they are included in the “value” of the box because a lot of the time you have to spend your own money (along with the gift card) to buy something from the featured store.
I don’t have too many framing needs, so I don’t think I’ll be spending this.
Perpetual Shade – Dream On Cotton Lux Sleep Mask – Retail Value $39
Sleep masks are one of those products that I’ve never tried but have always been intrigued by!
I love sleeping in pitch black rooms. I don’t want to be able to see my hand in front of my face. At all. You would think that would make me all about sleep masks, but I worry that sleeping in a mask will rip and break my hair when I toss and turn at night.
So far, I’ve slept with the mask one time. I put it on in the middle of the night when the moon starting peeking in my window. It didn’t seem to bother me at all, but I did wake up with it on my forehead. (I’m not sure if it migrated by itself due to my natural movements or if I moved it myself in my sleep)
The jury is still out on the sleep mask, but I will be keeping it next to my bed in case of a light/moon emergency!
Jack + Lucy – Pillow and Blanket Set – Retail Value $49.99
This little pillow and blanket set is perfect for traveling. The pillow is nice and compact, and the blanket is about the size of a beach towel. The ideal size to cover you but not bother anyone around you!
I haven’t been on any super long trips before, but I’m planning on packing this away for any long trips that might come up!
Keurig – The Original Donut Shop Coffee K-Cup Pods & Coupon
I don’t currently have a Keurig, so these K-Cups are useless to me right now. However, I believe I will be taking advantage of the (awesome!) 50% off coupon and picking one up soon!
Aquaphor – Advanced Therapy Ointment Body Spray
I’ve never tried an ointment spray before, so I’m not quite sure what to expect from it. I’ve chosen to save this until it gets a little cooler outside and my skins starts to dry out.
I may be mistaken, but ointment seems a lot more moisture intensive than lotion, so that’s why I think it’ll be great for the winter months.
The total retail value of the October box (minus the gift card) is $132.48. That’s not bad at all!
As I mentioned earlier, my favorite item this month is the shower gel by Lollia! It’s so pretty and smells delicious!
