Bobbi Brown – Smokey Eye Mascara

I’ve been using this mascara for several days now and really love it!  The spoolie is super fluffy (way fluffier than my usual Benefit Roller Lash), and I love it!  My lashes are loving it too!

Make Up For Ever – Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer

I recently mentioned in another post how much I love trying out different face primers.  I’ve gotten a ton recently and have enjoyed mixing up my primer several days a week!

I received my first sample of this one several months ago.  It’s very nice, but right now I’m more into the illumating primers.  I’m sure I’ll jump back to the smoothing and “pore minimizing” ones like this soon though! 🙂

Drybar – Detox Dry Shampoo

I never use dry shampoo, so this product is a loss for me.  That’s okay though.  I have several friends that use a great deal of it!  I’ll just give it to one of them.

I gave this product a test spray though, and it smells pretty fantastic!

Urban Decay – All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

Unlike dry shampoo, I use setting spray every single day.  I actually use this exact spray, so this is perfect for me!

I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally have a travel size bottle of this stuff!  I hate lugging the big bottle around on trips.  When this mini bottle runs out, I’ll just fill it up again from my full size and keep on spraying! 🙂

Sephora Collection – Cream Lip Stain in Always Red

The perfect red lip for all your holiday parties!

I like the formula and pigmentation of this stain.  However, I don’t wear red lipstick often (if ever), so I’d definitely be interested in trying out this product in a more neutral, every day shade!  The next time I’m in Sephora I’m going to have to swatch a few different shades to see which one will work the best for me!

Elizabeth and James – Nirvana Bourbon

As you know, fragrances and I don’t typically mesh well.

This perfume isn’t terrible, but also isn’t for me!  Oh well!

This month’s bag is so pretty!  The black with the rose gold is just so glamorous!  It goes perfectly with the “holiday party” vibe that Sephora has going!

All in all, I’d say I’m pretty pleased with this month’s box!  I think the setting spray and mascara are my favorite products this month!

  1. I really enjoyed your post for this month’s box. I totally agree with you about the lip stain. I am not a bright color person and i’m nervous about testing this one out since it is going to stain wherever I place it as a test. The perfume was definitely not my style either. I like how you are honest in your post with out bashing the products in it or the composition of the box.

    • I’m so happy to hear that you enjoyed my post! I try to be as honest as possible about my feelings on my boxes each month! 😊 I was able to test out the lip stain and wipe it off with makeup remover 20ish minutes later without any problems.
