This is the motif we’ll be using.

IMG_0792Print out the motif and trace with your Sharpie.

IMG_0799Trace the motif and hoop your fabric.

IMG_0801Use green thread and the Stem/Outline Stitch for the stem.

IMG_0803IMG_0806IMG_0811Continue on with the Stem Stitch until the stem is complete.

IMG_0814Keeping with the green thread, use the Back Stitch for the leaves.

IMG_0820IMG_0821Once the leaves are completed, we’ll start on the flowers.

IMG_0824Use the Back Stitch and the light pink thread for two of the flowers.

I chose two that are diagonal from each other, because I didn’t want two of the same color to be “touching.”

IMG_0829Stitch the two remaining flowers with the dark pink thread.

IMG_0958Our flowers are complete!

So bright and perfect for summer!
