Hoppy Easter Planner Stickers: Free Printable

Hi everyone!

It’s time for this week’s printable release!

IMG_9345

I went with an Easter theme for this week! Since there are a lot of bunnies on this sheet, I decided to call it “Hoppy Easter!” 🙂

I had so much fun creating all the bunnies and chicks!  I got some advice from two bunny experts on how to best design a few of my stickers! 😉

Here’s a closer look at the printable!

I know the whiskers look super chunky in this photo, but I promise they don’t actually print that way!

Before I give you the file, there are a few things I’d like to say.  I spent a lot of time designing and creating this printable, so please be kind when you use it.

March Functional Planner Stickers: Free Printable

Hi everyone!

This week’s printable is full of functional stickers in various shades of green!

IMG_8721

I haven’t made a strictly functional sheet yet, so I figured I’d make one for March!

Screen Shot 2016-02-26 at 3.52.42 PM

Here’s a better look at the printable.

The greens on this sheet coordinate quite nicely with the March colors in the vertical Erin Condren LifePlanner.

Before I give you the file there are a few things I’d like to say.  I spent a lot of time designing and creating this printable, so please be kind when you use it.

Spring Showers Planner Stickers: Free Printable

Hi everyone!

It’s time for my weekly planner printable release!

IMG_8680

I had quite a bit of fun designing the umbrellas for this sheet!  I absolutely LOVE how they turned out! 🙂

Here’s a better look at the printable!

This color scheme perfectly matches June in the vertical Erin Condren LifePlanner.  June is so far away though!  This sheet also complements the green theme of March, so I’ll most likely be using it then!

DIY Planner Dividers: Personal Size

Hi everyone!

I have a super easy paper crafting project for you today!

I recently purchased a kikki.K personal planner!  I love my new planner, but I didn’t love the dividers that came with it.  I’ve seen so many cute handmade dividers online, so I decided to make some myself!

IMG_8265

Here’s a little sneak preview of the finished product!

IMG_7782

Supplies:

  • Large paper dividers or file folders
  • Paper cutter
  • Glue dots
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Dividers that already fit your planner
  • Decorative papers and appliques
  • 6-hole punch (find one here)

The dividers I have came with seven tabs.  I knew I only wanted four tabs for my dividers, so I had to make a few adjustments to make the dividers fit and not look awkward!

IMG_7785

You’re going to start by tracing your first divider onto one of the large file folders.

IMG_7786

Leave a little space at the bottom of the first tab.

IMG_7788

Take the next divider “in line” and scooch it up a little to create a larger tab for your first divider.  Finish tracing the rest of the tab.

IMG_7790

This is actually a picture of the second divider, but you can still see what the divider tabs should look like.

Once you have the dividers drawn out, cut them with your paper cutter.  I cut all the straight edges first.

IMG_7792

At first, I wasn’t sure how I was going to cut the tabbed side of the divider.  I decided to cut part of it with the paper cutter and the actual tab area with a pair of scissors.

While using the paper cutter, I had to be very careful not to accidentally slice my tab right off!  To avoid that happening, I stopped the paper cutter about half an inch from the tab on each side.  I then finished cutting it with some scissors.

Getting the inside corners perfectly rounded was pretty tough, but I think I managed okay!

IMG_7795

Here are all the cut out dividers!

You may have noticed that there are five papers in the picture!  About halfway through my project, I decided to make a dashboard to match my dividers!

To make the dashboard, just line up all of your original dividers, trace around them, and then cut it out!  It’s super easy!

IMG_7826

I love the striped, metallic dividers, but I wanted to add a little something else to them!

I found these fun Project Life cards and cardboard appliques at Hobby Lobby.  When I saw them, I knew they’d be perfect for this project!

IMG_7800

I played around with a few different design options.

IMG_7829

Here’s what I decided on!

IMG_7832

I used some adhesive, glue dots to attach all of the decorative items.  I’m rather heavy handed with every kind of adhesive, so you may not find this many glue dots necessary! 🙂

IMG_7918

Now it’s time to punch the holes!  Once all of the holes are punched, your dividers are complete!

Dividers

Here are all of the finished dividers!

Aren’t they so cute?!  I love the light pink with all of the gold accents! So classy!

IMG_8244

I absolutely love the way the dashboard and dividers look with my light blue planner and matching, pink planner clips!

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little tutorial!

Happy Crafting and Happy Planning!

The purples will go very nicely with the pinks of the February theme in the vertical Erin Condren LifePlanner.  They also match the April theme quite nicely!

Hi everyone!

It’s time for my monthly POPSUGAR Must Have review!

IMG_7946

My box took FOREVER to arrive this month!  I successfully avoided all of the spoilers though! 🙂

IMG_7954

Each box comes with a little card with details on every product featured for the month.

IMG_7955

Box Contents:

  • Pehr Designs – Pebble Speck Bin
  • Spark Joy by Marie Kondo
  • Patchology – FlashMasque Trio
  • Blue Sky – Day Designer Weekly Planner
  • Not Soap, Radio – Bath & Shower Gel Gift Set
  • Project 7, INC – Summer Snow Sugar Free Gum
  • Chapstick – Total Hydration 100% Natural Soothing Vanilla

IMG_7980

Pehr Designs – Pebble Speck Bin – Retail Value $40

This bin is too cute!  The gray speckles match the decor in my living room perfectly!

IMG_8020

As soon as I opened up the bin, I knew it would be perfect for storing blankets in my living room!

It’s not too big, so it’ll fit perfectly in the corner of the room!

IMG_7961

Spark Joy by Marie Kondo – Retail Value $18.99

Anyone who’s ever been to my apartment knows how much of a mess I am!  I can’t think of someone who could use this book more than me!

The illustrations are super cute and rather helpful!

IMG_7958

Patchology – FlashMasque Trio – Retail Value $20

I’m not a huge fan of face masks but my friend, Lindsey, is.  She happened to come over the day I received my box, so we tried these out together!

I tried the hydration mask and Lindsey tried the illumination one.

I’ve never used a sheet mask before so these were quite interesting!  We were told by several people that we looked like a character from The Silence of the Lambs.

I chose the hydration one because my skin has been a little dry because of the cold weather.  It was a little too hydrating and now I have a few tiny zits! 🙁

I think my skin would’ve had a better reaction if I’d have tried a different mask.  Oh well!

IMG_7962

Blue Sky – Day Designer Weekly Planner – Retail Value $15.99

I was so excited when I saw this cute, little planner in my box!  As you know, I LOVE planners!

IMG_7965

The gold accents and striped bookmark make the planner even cuter!

IMG_7967

I really like the checklists that are included for each day.  Very functional!

IMG_7969

There’s also a standard monthly view.

My friend pointed out how nice it was that the boxes are lined!  A great feature I didn’t even pick up on!

I’m not quite sure what I’m going to use this planner for, but I’m sure I’ll think of something!

IMG_7975

Not Soap, Radio – Bath & Shower Gel Gift Set – Retail Value $22

These soaps are very quirky and fun! Each little bottle has a festive description on it!

I’ve been using “Luck” for the past few days and like it!  It smells really good!

IMG_7978

Project 7, INC – Summer Snow Sugar Free Gum – Retail Value $1.99

I really love how this brand does their packaging!  I’m go to JoAnn’s a lot and they sell Project 7 right by the checkout, so I’m always admiring it.

They have some pretty funky flavors, so before receiving these, I hadn’t tried anything besides their peppermints.

I wouldn’t say the gum tastes like snow cones, but it does have a nice fruity flavor!  I’ll definitely finish the pack!

IMG_7971

Chapstick – Total Hydration 100% Natural Soothing Vanilla – Retail Value $2.99

I’m a HUGE lip balm person!  Burt’s Bees is my brand of choice but Chapstick is still good!

I’ve used this one a few times and it’s very nice.  I like the vanilla.  It’s different than my usual mint flavor.

This is going in my lip balm stock and it’ll be put in rotation soon!

IMG_7950

The total retail value for this box is $ 121.96!  That’s fantastic!

I’m very happy with the January POPSUGAR Must Have box!  I will use every item!

Planner Perfect: Get Organized This Semester

Hi everyone!

I’ve decided to share a bit of my recent planning hobby with you today!  For those of you that follow me on Instagram, some of this will be a repeat for you.  For those who don’t follow me on Instagram, you really should! (pinkbowstwinkletoes)

I discovered the Erin Condren LifePlanner earlier this summer.  After seeing it, I knew almost instantly that I needed one too!  So the planning adventure began!

IMG_2770When ordering my planner, I chose the custom colorway option and picked out this delightful cornflower blue and white! I love how crisp and clean the color combo is! It’s professional but still fun!

I knew when I ordered my planner that I was going to jump right on the planner sticker band wagon!  I actually received my first two sticker orders several days before my planner arrived!  As I mentioned in my last post, I tend to jump into new things with both feet! 🙂

IMG_3082This was my first planned out week.  I’d only received a few sticker sheets when I designed this spread, so it’s a little bare.  Looking past all the white space, I think it’s pretty cute for my first week!

I love using little pencil stickers to mark when my classes are.  I also have some special college flags that I use to mark when assignments are due.

I haven’t really used a planner since High School, so this is a fun way for me to get organized again!

IMG_3888Skip ahead a few weeks and we have this hot air balloon spread!  This is the first design that I was completely happy with!  I love the way the stickers complement the page colors.  So pretty!

I used quite a few of the college assignment flags on the latter portion of this week.

I decided at this point that I was going to add a corresponding quote in the left side bar each week.  I usually go on Pinterest on Sunday nights and see what kind of short and sweet quotes I can find!

IMG_4045I chose a bright red and yellow floral theme for this week. The mason jar stickers I had corresponded nicely with the reds of July and the yellows of August.  Super convenient!

I picked out a fun Lilly Pulitzer quote that I thought fit quite nicely with the color scheme!

IMG_4210I messed up the sidebar quote for the week of my brother’s wedding, so I had to get creative with my photo!  Whoopsie! 🙂

Vintage Gypsy Road (one of the sticker shops I love) sells a fun cake decorating sticker set that allows you to build any size cake you’d like!  I thought that was perfect for Robert and Hayley’s wedding day!

IMG_4365A Florida summer isn’t complete without a little watermelon!

IMG_4446I got the majority of the stickers I used for this spread from Libbie & Co (another one of my favorite sticker shops).

She sold a mystery box in early August that came with tons of adorable flamingo stickers!  You know how much I love mystery/subscription boxes, so I couldn’t resist!  I’m hoping she offers another one soon!

IMG_4611This floral theme is my most recent spread.

Sorority recruitment ended this week and Kappa’s bid day theme was Picnic, so I was trying to portray that a little in my spread.  It didn’t turn out overly picnic-y but that’s okay!  The red gingham box is all the picnic I really need!

Now that I’ve shown you all of my designs, I’m going to explain a little about the supplies I use and how I go about designing the spread for each week!

IMG_4637I buy/use a ton of stickers, so I bought this accordion folder at Target to store all of my stickers.  I also bought the corresponding file folders.

I like to store my stickers alphabetically by shop. When the pockets of the accordion folder filled up, I started sticking the file folders in the accordion pockets to created more divided spaces.

IMG_4640Here’s a picture of the inside of my accordion folder.  You can kind of see where I stuck a filer folder to create more space.

IMG_4647On the bottom of each planner page, I like to add some coordinating washi tape.  The washi adds a lot of color and covers up some of my unused white space!  Win win!

I’ve bought washi at all of the craft stores and Target!  Target sometimes has it in their Dollar Spot, which is a fantastic deal if you find some you like!

Michael’s is the best place to buy the basics.  They sell thin, solid washi in large packs that you can oftentimes use a coupon on!  What a deal!

IMG_4646These are some of my favorite sticker sheets!

IMG_4649Every Sunday night, I sit down with my planner and start designing my layout for the week.  I typically have a few Post-Its with important events on them.

IMG_4651I then go through my stickers and pick out the ones I think I’m going to use.

IMG_4655Planning is definitely a process.  I don’t fill out the entire week on Sunday.  I just fill out what I know I for sure have going on.  I like to leave a little blank space in case something pops up!

IMG_4659I then added my quote and made a few more sticker additions.

IMG_4662This is what I ended up with!  I’m not in love with my washi tape design, so I’ll probably end up changing that before the week is through!  I’m pretty satisfied with the rest of it though!

If I still have some blank spaces at the end of the week, I’ll go ahead and add in more decorative stickers!

Planning can be quite time consuming, but I find it very rewarding!  It’s such a fun way for me to stay organized and make sure I don’t miss any important events or assignments!

Check out my Instagram on Wednesday and Sunday for more pictures of this spread!

Are you a planner addict too?!

What are some of your favorite sticker shops?!
