FabFitFun Summer 2022 Review

FabFitFun summer 2022 review - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Another season has come and gone in the blink of an eye! This summer has been a super busy one, so I’m a little late to game here. Better late than never though, right?! So without much further ado, here is my FabFitFun summer 2022 review for you!

FabFitFun summer 2022 review - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

FabFitFun Summer 2022 Review

Summer 2022 was a great season for my FabFitFun box! I have been loving each of these items and been using them all pretty regularly too! I’m almost out of one of the skincare products already!

Samara Crossbody Bag - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Samara Shoulder Bag, Peony – Retail Value $125

I think you know by now, I love bags! I can never resist when FabFitFun offers one as a customization option!

And this adorable pink crossbody bag from Samara did not disappoint! It’s a classic silhouette and goes with nearly every outfit! The pink is subtle and can act as a neutral if you want it to! I’ve been incorporating this cutie into my purse rotation ever since my box arrived and anticipate using it and loving it for years to come!

BaubleBar and Sanctuary Project Jewelry - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

BaubleBar Build Your Own Necklace + Sanctuary Project Necklace – Retail Value $70

BaubleBar Build Your Own Necklace Clasp + 2″ & 4″ Necklace Extender

I love layering necklaces, so this extender + layer set from BaubleBar is fantastic! All you have to do is connect 2-3 of your favorite necklaces to this little clasp and voila! Perfect necklace layering without all the tangles!

This set also came with two necklaces extender chains to help you get the perfect necklace stack.

Sanctuary Project Necklace - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Sanctuary Project Rose Serenity Necklace

What’s a necklace kit without a new necklace to go with it?

Pink is my favorite color and I’m all about minimalist gold jewelry these days. It was hard to say no when this necklace combined the two!

I was expecting the stone to be a little lighter and more of a blush color. In reality, it’s more of lighter bubble gum pink. Still very cute but not as wearable as I was expecting. Oh, well!

This cutie is still in the rotation and looks super cute with neutral tops like shown above.

Beauty and Skincare - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

First Aid Beauty Ingrown Hair Pads & KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub – Retail Value $50

KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub

I’ve known about the First Aid Beauty brand for many years but haven’t explored very many of their products! When I saw that they were offering the KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub as an option this last season, I jumped at the chance to try it!

I’ve had KP, which is considered “strawberry skin” or “chicken skin” since I was a little girl. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s little bumps on the skin caused by dryness and clogged pores. The body scrub is super abrasive and is supposed to help get rid of the bumps on your skin. I’ve been using the scrub since I got my box in the mail and have been loving it! The bumps on my skin are not completely gone, but my skin is definitely smoother, Which is a win for me!

Ingrown Hair Pads

I’ve been using a different brand of ingrown hair pads for the last few years and have loved them. When I saw that First Aid Beauty had a version as well, I knew I’d want to try them too!

The little tub includes 28 single-use pads, which help ingrown hairs, razor burn, and uneven skin texture. The First Aid Beauty pads are slightly thicker than the other pads I’ve used in the past, which I love! I think these pads are great and a good addition to your skincare routine if you get waxes or are just prone to ingrown hairs.

Whish Beauty Rose Hip and Lotus Firming Sleep Mask – Retail Value $58

I am not a huge face mask girl! I don’t like washing my face outside of the shower because it’s messy and gets my hair wet, therefore face masks just aren’t for me.

However, I love sleeping masks! Anything I can sleep in, I’m all about! I like being able to apply a mask before bed, sleeping in it, and then (if I absolutely have to) I will do a light water rinse in the morning.

This firming sleeping mask smells delicious (kind of like a fruity floral fragrance) and feels so good on the skin!

AHAVA Essential Day Moisturizer – Retail Value $69

I’ve tried a few AHAVA products in the past, so I was excited to try a new one this season!

I’ve been using this moisturizer for several weeks now and really like it! It’s a little thicker than what I’ve been using, but it agrees with my skin quite nicely! I’ve been using it both in the morning under my makeup and at night after my shower.

My only wish was that this moisturizer included a little SPF. I prefer SPF moisturizers during the day.

Kayo Body Scrubber – Retail Value $15

This body scrubber was a fun, little freebie that FabFitFun included in every box (I think?) for free this last season! I typically use a loofah in the shower. While loofahs aren’t the cleanest option, I like using something other than my hand when washing my body. I’ve always been intrigued by the silicone scrubbers, so I was excited to see this one included in my box.

I’ve been using the body scrubber for a few weeks now! I like it, but I’ve also noticed that it doesn’t lather my soap or produce nearly as many bubbles as my loofah used to. That’s not a big deal though! Other than the lack of lather, I really like my new scrubber.

Sonix Bluetooth Speaker - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Sonix Bluetooth Speaker – Retail Value $45

I have been wanting a bluetooth speaker forever now! Ever since I redid my patio in spring 2021. When I saw that FabFitFun was offering the Sonix Bluetooth Speaker as a customization option, I jumped on it!

How cute does it look on my patio?! Adorable, I know!

I live in Florida, so it’s too hot to sit on my patio most days right now, but I plan to sit out there and listen to music/podcasts/audiobooks a lot in the fall and winter months.

There you have it! My FabFitFun summer 2022 review! This season’s box was fantastic and worth over $400! Talk about a great deal! My favorites items from this box are the crossbody bag and the KP body scrub. I’m actually almost out of the scrub, so I will need to purchase a new bottle soon!
