If you were to ever visit my apartment, you would see letter boards and chalkboards with inspirational quotes or puns in every single room! What can I say, I have a thing for words in my decor! Today, I’ll be showing you a few fun ways to incorporate chalkboard decor in your home!
Supplies
- UNIQOOO Chalkboard Signs
- Liquid Chalk Markers (I love VersaChalk but just bought this pack of ARTEZA, which I am very excited about)
Chalkboard Decor
Once you have your supplies, all that’s left to do is write or draw on your chalkboards! Down below, I’ve outlined a few ways I’m using chalkboards in my home along with some other ideas of ways to use them.
Ways to Incorporate Chalkboards:

Menu Board – What a fun way to display what you have planned our for dinner each week!
P.S. Yes, I am guilty of ice cream for dinner! I also enjoy a nice Greek yogurt for dinner sometimes too!

Motivational Quote – Like I have said many times before, I love a good motivational or inspirational quote! I’ve placed this one in my bathroom to remind myself each morning that that day is a new one! The slate is blank and ready for me to make the most of it!
On this one, I added a few flower doodles, which I learned how to draw with Botanical Line Drawing. I love this book and highly recommend it if you’re interested in learning how to doodle leaves, berries, flowers, and more!

WiFi info – Make things easy on each guest that enters your home by spelling out all the details for your WiFi network. You could either place this info in your living room or in a guest room if you have one!
Additional ideas:
Party Decor – I’m planning to use a few of these chalkboards for my pup’s third birthday party (yes, you read that correctly) to outline all the party food.
Table numbers – If you’re planning a wedding or large party, these would be great for table numbers.
Reminders – If you have an entryway table, you could keep a chalkboard or two on there along with a few markers for writing yourself or your loved ones little reminders as you head out the door each day.
Calendar – You could easily take the menu idea and turn it into a weekly or monthly calendar for yourself. A chalkboard calendar would be so cute on a kitchen counter or in an office.
The possibilities for chalkboard decor in your home are endless! Leave a comment below if you have chalkboards in your home and how you like to use them!

No chalkboards in my home currently but I have used them at baby and bridal showers to showcase the food as well as the gift table and games! So much fun!
