Hello friends!
It’s always such an exciting day when my PLAY! by Sephora box arrives on my doorstep. I can never keep up with the tracking for these boxes, so when they’ll arrive is always a mystery me. I enjoy surprises though, so it’s all good!
“The Gleam Team” is the theme for March! Lots of shimmery, shiny products ahead!
Sephora mixed it up a little with the illustrations in the March PLAY! BOOK. I love the watercolors they usually do, but these illustrations fit much better with this month’s theme.

GLAMGLOW – GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer
In the PLAY! BOOK it says that illuminating moisturizers like this one are being dubbed “glotions.” How funny is that?! It definitely makes me chuckle! 🙂
I was expecting this product to be super moisturizing based on how moisturizing their THIRSTYMUD mask is. Unfortunately, I’m not finding it to be very hydrating.
It smells fantastic though! I can’t put my finger on what exactly the scent reminds me of though! It’s sweet + sugary with a touch of fruit. Yummy!
Benefit Cosmetics – Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter
I’m a lover of all things Benefit, so I was pretty excited to find this product in my box!
I don’t do much highlighting in my makeup routine, so I’ll be using this bad boy as an eye shadow and inner eye highlight.
It’s a light champagne color that is perfect for everyday wear!
Josie Maran – Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm
I’m not so sure about this balm. It makes my skin feel nice, but I don’t love the packaging.
The rose gold lid and clear pot are beautiful, but I hate sticking my finger in products like this. When pots are super small, I always end up jabbing my finger in there and getting a ton of product stuck under my nail. This is most likely just a personal problem and not something that everyone struggles with!
I’ll most likely end up giving this product to a friend of mine to enjoy!
Bobbi Brown – Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Pink
I love the convenience of eye shadow sticks! They make application so quick and easy.
This shadow stick is super similar in color to the Laura Mercier shadow stick that I received in my November box. I’m okay with that though, because I love the rosey champagne color! I swatched the two side-by-side and gathered that the Bobbi Brown shadow has a tad more shimmer to it.
Living Proof – Full Dry Volume Blast
I’m super low-maintenance when it comes to my hair. I always air dry and rarely straighten it these days.
Since I don’t style my hair, this product is kind of lost on me. I did a little test earlier and did see a little volume boost after spraying certain parts of my hair.
My mom does way more styling with her hair than I do, so she’ll probably end up with this product.
I’m a little reluctant to let it go though, because it smells absolutely amazing!
Chloé – Fleur de Parfum
Those of you that read my reviews each month know that I am not a perfume person. This month is no different.
I spritzed this perfume before writing this post, and I’m now regretting it. The scent is a little much for me! Whoopsie!!
This month’s bag is very fun! I love the neon-esque font they chose! It works so well with the theme!
This month’s box was okay for me. It wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst either. I’ll definitely be using up the Bobbi Brown shadow stick and the Benefit highlighter though.
