Hi everyone!
I have another fun, shabby chic embroidery project to share with you!
This is the companion to the floral teapot project I posted earlier this week. Supplies:
- Doodle Stitching: The Motif Collection by Aimee Ray (get it here)
- Embroidery hoop (4 inch)
- Embroidery floss
- Fabric
- Scissors
- Needle
- Pencil
- Sharpie
- E415 – metallic silver (optional)
- 744 – yellow
- 819 – light pink
- 3712 – medium pink

This is the motif we’ll be using.

If you’d like to make the teacup exactly match our teapot from earlier this week, you can use this motif instead. Print out your motif and trace it with your Sharpie.
Trace the teacup onto your fabric.
Start with the light pink thread and Stem/Outline Stitch around the top of the cup.
Continue down the sides of the cup.
Finish up the cup by stitching the handle.
Now, use the yellow thread to Back Stitch the lemon slice.
Use the dark pink thread to Back Stitch the saucer.
Once the saucer is stitched, the project is complete! So cute!
They look so good together!!
I love them!
