September Favorites 2021 - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Fall is here, and I am PUMPED! I love fall and everything it encompasses—even the things I’ve never had the chance to experience here in the Sunshine State! My chunky sweaters are ready for all that’s in store. Keep your fingers crossed for me that we’ll have some nice cool days in Florida this season! My September favorites list features one fun fall item and then two other fun finds! Let’s dive in!

September Favorites 2021 - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Candy Apple Pretzels

I love fall but I’m not the biggest fan of pumpkin flavored things. Pumpkin Spice Latte? I’ll pass! Offer me something apple flavored, and I’m all over it though!

I bought these candy apple pretzels on a whim at Target, and boy am I glad I did! I’ve since bought a second bag and will probably end up buying a third and fourth as we move through the season.

So what do candy apple pretzels taste like? To me, they taste kind of like apple cinnamon oatmeal, which may sound a little weird. I’m telling you though, they’re DELICIOUS! Salty + sweet and totally worth trying!

If pumpkin is your preferred flavor, Target also has pumpkin spice pretzels too. I can’t vouch for their flavor though!

Claw Clips

Another fun Target find! Everything from the 90s is cool again, including claw clips! I picked up both a matte claw clip and a gold metallic claw clip on my weekly Target run recently.

Target’s Universal Thread and A New Day lines have tons of great hair clip options right now, and from what I’ve seen, they’re all $5! A great price point for a fun impulse purchase.

I went with the peachy pink matte clip and the gold metallic clip because I thought I would get the most use out of those colors. Between you and me, I’m also thinking about going back and getting the silver clip too! Along with the peachy pink color, the matte clips also come in dusty blue, mustard yellow, and an orangey red.

When it comes to styling, I’ve been using my clips for a half up/half down look and also for securing a bun when I don’t feel like wearing a ponytail.

adidas Ladies’ QT Racer

I’ve been in the market for a new pair of running shoes for a little while now. They weren’t at the top of my shopping list but were still something I needed to eventually purchase.

About two weeks ago, I was in Costco and discovered that they had adidas Ladies’ QT Racer sneakers in both a grayish purple color and black for a truly ridiculous price—$24! Like WHAT?! I immediately picked up a pair of the grayish purple. When I got home, I told my friends about my find and ended up going back to Costco the very next day to snag a pair for one of my friends.

About a week later, I decided to see if Costco still had the sneakers in stock, because I couldn’t resist snagging another pair for that price. My sister-in-law also wanted to get a pair. When we went back, the purple was no longer available but the black was. And guess what?! The priced had been reduced even further to $19. That’s just crazy talk!

If you have a Costco near you, RUN don’t walk to see if you can snag a pair for yourself. If not, you can also buy online from Costco (the price includes shipping, so it’s a little more than what I paid.)

And then if you aren’t a Costco member, the adidas Ladies’ QT Racer sneakers are also available on Amazon. They cost a little more on Amazon, but are still so reasonably priced!

So aside from the price, another great thing about these sneakers is the comfort level. They feature something called “cloudfoam comfort” and really do feel like running on a cloud. I’m loving how comfy they are!

I’m not what you would call a serious runner, but I dabble and have greatly enjoyed adding these new shoes to my routine!

This September favorites list marks one year of sharing a few of my favorite items with you! I hope you’ve been enjoying this series as much as I have! I look forward to continue to share old and new faves with you each and every month and am even trying to figure out how to incorporate a new blog series focusing on my recent reads, listens, and watches—kind of like what I shared with you in my August favorites list last month.

Affiliate links are in use in my September favorites post, but I truly love and use every item featured on this list.
