Monthly Calendar: Free Printable Planner Insert

I’ve left all the monthly details blank, so you can use this calendar any time you’d like!

I strayed from the traditional “Sunday start” and began each week on a Monday to make it easier to plan events that span both Saturday and Sunday.  And if you enjoy planning with stickers, this layout makes it much easier to use a weekend banner! 🙂

April Functional Planner Stickers: Free Printable

Hello Planner Friends!

Can you all believe that April begins this week?! I sure can’t!  2017 seems to be flying by!

IMG_0787

Here is this month’s functional freebie!

I love the periwinkle purples of April!  My version is a little more vibrant than Erin Condren’s, but still coordinates very well.

I’ve added a few new items to this month’s freebie!  I like using a habit tracker each week, so I’ve added two of them to this printable along with an additional “today” and “little bits” header.

IMG_0782

Before I give you the printable file, there are a few things I’d like to say.  I spent a lot of time designing and creating this printable, so please be kind when you use it.

  • Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes printables are for personal use only
  • You may not re-sell, redistribute, or claim this work as your own
  • If you post this on the internet, please give the credit to Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes and link it back to my blog (pinkbowstwinkletoes.com)

Enough of the heavy stuff! Now it’s time for the stickers!

I’m providing you this printable in both a PNG and PDF file format.  I’ve found that the PNG prints richer colors than the PDF.  It’s up to you which file you use though!

To download the PNG file:

  1. Click on the image above
  2. Click “view full size”
  3. Right click and save image
  4. Open saved file and print
  5. ENJOY!!

If you skip step 2 and don’t click the “view full size” button, the image will save in a much smaller format and will print incorrectly.

You can download the PDF file here, PBTT April Functional Sticker Sheet.

Be sure to tag me in any and all Instagram posts featuring my stickers and your planner! (@pinkbowstwinkletoes and #pinkbowstwinkletoes)  I would love to see what you do with them! :)

Happy Planning!

Password Log: Free Printable Planner Insert

Hello Planners!

If you’re anything like me, you have a thousand accounts on a million different websites!  My latest printable should help in the organization of all that madness!

IMG_0599

This week, I’m introducing the super handy password log!  My latest printable makes it so easy to keep all of your account information in one place.

[Related: Online Shopping Tracker Planner Insert]

IMG_0587

On this printable, I’ve included a place for the website, your username, and your password.

If you’re wary of someone getting their hands on all of your password and account information, you can always write your password in code!  That’s what I like to do.  I write little hints that no one but me would understand.

PLAY! by Sephora Review: March 2017

Hello friends!

It’s always such an exciting day when my PLAY! by Sephora box arrives on my doorstep.  I can never keep up with the tracking for these boxes, so when they’ll arrive is always a mystery me.  I enjoy surprises though, so it’s all good!

IMG_0484

“The Gleam Team” is the theme for March!  Lots of shimmery, shiny products ahead!

IMG_0485

Sephora mixed it up a little with the illustrations in the March PLAY! BOOK.  I love the watercolors they usually do, but these illustrations fit much better with this month’s theme.

IMG_0489

Box Contents:

  • GLAMGLOW – GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer
  • Benefit Cosmetics – Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter
  • Josie Maran – Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm
  • Bobbi Brown – Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Pink
  • Living Proof – Full Dry Volume Blast
  • Chloé – Fleur de Parfum
  • Drawstring Bag

IMG_0480

GLAMGLOW – GLOWSTARTER Mega Illuminating Moisturizer

In the PLAY! BOOK it says that illuminating moisturizers like this one are being dubbed “glotions.”  How funny is that?!  It definitely makes me chuckle! 🙂

I was expecting this product to be super moisturizing based on how moisturizing their THIRSTYMUD mask is.  Unfortunately, I’m not finding it to be very hydrating.

It smells fantastic though!  I can’t put my finger on what exactly the scent reminds me of though!  It’s sweet + sugary with a touch of fruit.  Yummy!

IMG_0479

Benefit Cosmetics – Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter

I’m a lover of all things Benefit, so I was pretty excited to find this product in my box!

I don’t do much highlighting in my makeup routine, so I’ll be using this bad boy as an eye shadow and inner eye highlight.

It’s a light champagne color that is perfect for everyday wear!

IMG_0478

Josie Maran – Surreal Skin Argan Finishing Balm

I’m not so sure about this balm.  It makes my skin feel nice, but I don’t love the packaging.

The rose gold lid and clear pot are beautiful, but I hate sticking my finger in products like this.  When pots are super small, I always end up jabbing my finger in there and getting a ton of product stuck under my nail.  This is most likely just a personal problem and not something that everyone struggles with!

I’ll most likely end up giving this product to a friend of mine to enjoy!

IMG_0481

Bobbi Brown – Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Golden Pink

I love the convenience of eye shadow sticks!  They make application so quick and easy.

This shadow stick is super similar in color to the Laura Mercier shadow stick that I received in my November box.  I’m okay with that though, because I love the rosey champagne color! I swatched the two side-by-side and gathered that the Bobbi Brown shadow has a tad more shimmer to it.

IMG_0477

Living Proof – Full Dry Volume Blast

I’m super low-maintenance when it comes to my hair.  I always air dry and rarely straighten it these days.

Since I don’t style my hair, this product is kind of lost on me.  I did a little test earlier and did see a little volume boost after spraying certain parts of my hair.

My mom does way more styling with her hair than I do, so she’ll probably end up with this product.

I’m a little reluctant to let it go though, because it smells absolutely amazing!

IMG_0482

Chloé – Fleur de Parfum

Those of you that read my reviews each month know that I am not a perfume person.  This month is no different.

I spritzed this perfume before writing this post, and I’m now regretting it.  The scent is a little much for me!  Whoopsie!!

IMG_0483

This month’s bag is very fun!  I love the neon-esque font they chose!  It works so well with the theme!

IMG_0486

This month’s box was okay for me.  It wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst either.  I’ll definitely be using up the Bobbi Brown shadow stick and the Benefit highlighter though.

POPSUGAR Must Have Review: March 2017

Hello everyone!

My POPSUGAR Must Have box has arrived, and I can’t wait to share all my new goodies with you!

IMG_0182

To receive a fun box of surprises each month like I do, click here!

Box Contents:

  • Kate Spade New York – New York Photo Album
  • Stephanie Johnson – Camera Crossbody Bag
  • Sunnylife, LLC – Eco Lunch Box Watermelon
  • Thrive Causemetics – Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella
  • Smashmallow – Cinnamon Churro
  • Velvet Eyewear – $25 Gift Card

IMG_0173

Kate Spade New York – New York Photo Album – Retail Value $20

This is the first item I saw peeking out of my box and is, by far, my favorite!  I absolutely LOVE Kate Spade!

I’m sure this beauty will be making an appearance on Instagram in the near future!  Follow me (@pinkbowstwinkletoes) and never miss a post! 🙂

IMG_0174

My mission for the next week or so is to gather and print lots of photos to fill my new album!

IMG_0179

Stephanie Johnson – Camera Crossbody Bag – Retail Value $45

I love bags, but I’m not so sure that this one is for me!  I carry A LOT of nonsense in my purse and don’t like the idea of others being able to see all that!

A lot of stadiums are requiring people to bring clear, see-through bags to sporting events now.  I’m wondering if this bag will make the cut even though it’s red?  I don’t go to that many sporting events, but I will take this bag to my next one if it meets the regulations!

IMG_0176

Sunnylife, LLC – Eco Lunch Box Watermelon – Retail Value $18

How adorable is this little watermelon?!  I received an eco lunchbox from POPSUGAR a while ago and absolutely loved it!

These boxes are perfect for keeping your chips and sandwich from getting crushed when throwing your lunch in a tote bag!

IMG_0177

Thrive Causemetics – Brilliant Eye Brightener in Stella – Retail Value $24

How gorgeous is this turquoise packaging?!  I love it!

I also love the champagne-y color of this highlighter.  It looks beautiful on my skin tone!  I added some in the corners of my eyes this morning, and they brightened right up!

The packaging says you can use this highlighter as an eyeliner and eye shadow as well.  I’ll be trying it out as a shadow tomorrow morning.  Champagne is one of my go-to colors, so I know it’ll look fantastic!

IMG_0184

Smashmallow – Cinnamon Churro – Retail Value $4

Gourmet marshmallows?! Yes, please!!

The marshmallows smell amazing and taste pretty good too.  I’ve eaten four (one serving size for those who care) by themselves and found them to be quite delightful!   If I can find some hot chocolate in my pantry, I’m going to add them to that next!

IMG_0178

Velvet Eyewear – $25 Gift Card

I don’t like like it when gift cards are included in my boxes.  Very rarely do the websites have products that you can buy with the gift cards alone.  Velvet Eyewear has a few pairs of sunglasses for $45-$65 but the majority were $150 and above.

I already have two pairs of nice sunglasses, so I won’t be spending this card.

IMG_0183

The total retail value for this month’s box is $111 not including the gift card.  That value isn’t too high, but it’s still great for a $40 box!

My favorite items this month are the Kate Spade photo album and the Sunnylife lunch box!

Stamped Greeting Cards: Easy DIY

Hello Crafters!

Those of you that follow me on Instagram (if you’re not already, follow me @pinkbowstwinkletoes) have seen several posts in the last few weeks featuring some homemade greeting cards.

I love how all of my greeting cards have turned out, so I figured I’d write up a little tutorial for you all!

When I say making these cards is super easy, I mean super duper easy peasy!  You can make several cards in 10 minutes or less!

IMG_9898

Supplies:

  • Cardstock (I used white, but you can use a color if you prefer)
  • Paper trimmer or scissors
  • Ink pads
  • Stamps
  • Markers (I like Staedtler Dual Tips)
  • Ruler (optional)
  • Pencil (optional)

Step 1:

Take a sheet of cardstock and cut it in half lengthwise creating two strips.

Step 2:

To make a folding card, fold each strip in half.

To make flat cards, cut each strip in half.

I’ll be making both types of cards in this tutorial!

IMG_9878

Here are the stamps I’ll be using for my cards.

I bought these at Michaels several years ago. The season was changing, so everything in their spring collection was one sale.  I went a little crazy (who doesn’t love clearance?!) and bought every stamp set I could find from this collection.  I have about eight packs! 🙂

I love the watercolor ink look, so I’m using two pink inks and an orange one for my first owl.

Step 3:

Take your ink pads and apply each color randomly to your stamp.

If you’re using a light ink and several dark ones (like me!), I suggest using the light ink first and then applying the dark inks.  Going in that order prevents you from ruining your light colors with dark ones.

IMG_9879

Step 4:

Stamp it!

I chose to use this owl on a folding card, so I stamped my image on the right side of the opened card.  I find folded cards easier to stamp when they are opened up.

Step 5:

Add your message!

I like to take a ruler and draw a pencil line before I go in and add my copy.  If I don’t add a line, I always end up writing on a slant!

Step 6:

Add a fun message on the inside of your card!

On the inside of my card, I’m going to write something along the lines of “That’s owl speak for…”

I’m going to repeat steps 1-6 and make a flat floral card now.

I mixed orange and coral red ink for this one.

IMG_9882

I love how these two inks look when mixed together!

I added “Yay” to this card!  I think it’ll be very cute for celebrations and such!

I also decided to make a blue and green owl!

IMG_9885

This time, I stamped the owl on a flat card!

There are so many fun “owl” sayings out there, that I’m bound to use another one when I send out this card! 🙂

IMG_9899

I hope you all enjoyed this super duper easy peasy tutorial!

If I weren’t taking photos while making these cards, they would’ve taken me less than ten minutes to make!

Happy Crafting!
