As promised in last week’s post, I have a monthly functional printable to share with you today!

I really love the golden yellows of August in the vertical Erin Condren LifePlanner.  They’re quite pretty!

If you follow me on Instagram (which you definitely should!), you might’ve noticed the fun, scalloped boxes and reminder circles I’ve been using!  I designed them a little while ago, and have absolutely LOVED using them!  I think the circles are my favorite!

Before I give you the file, there are a few things I’d like to say.  I spent a lot of time designing and creating this printable, so please be kind when you use it.

I’m providing you this printable in both a PNG and PDF file format. I’ve found that the PNG prints richer colors than the PDF. It’s up to you which file you use though!

To download the PNG file:

  1. Click on the image above
  2. Click “view full size”
  3. Right click and save image
  4. Open saved file and print
  5. PLAN!!

If you skip step 2 and don’t click the “view full size” button, the image will save in a much smaller format and will print incorrectly.

Exciting Printable News!

Hello Planner Friends!

I mentioned in last week’s post that exciting things were coming for Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes!  Well the time has come for me to announce my big news!

Yes, you read that right!  Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes is now on Etsy!

I have been working really hard for the last few months to create some new, larger printable kits and get my shop up and running!

You’re probably wondering what kind of items I’ll be selling in my new shop.  To start, I will be selling both decorative and functional printable kits.  These printables will be larger and more detailed than the free printables I’ve been offering on the blog for the last six months.  Once I see how the printables are selling, I want to start making and selling printed stickers! That’s the goal anyway!

I know many of you are probably worried that my free printables will disappear now that I have opened a shop. Do not worry!  All printables that are currently on the blog will stay there, and I will continue to release a couple of free printables each month.  These free printables will be along the lines of monthly colors and seasonal items!

I currently have nine, two-page kits and three multicolored functional listings in the shop that I will give you a preview of down below.  In the next month or so, I hope to start making horizontal printables (I may or may not have purchased a horizontal Erin Condren!), along with monthly view printables!

I’m very excited for this new Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes adventure, and I hope that you are too!

Under the Sea may look familiar to those of you that follow me on Instagram (@pinkbowstwinkletoes).  It’s the kit I used in my planner last week!

I used a few other stickers in my Under the Sea spread, but the majority are from the kit!

One thing I love about printables is that you can print them out multiple times!  I printed out the Under the Sea kit twice for this spread. I wanted a few more checklists and such!

These are the three functional sheets I have listed!  They come in a variety of colors with scalloped edges.  From left to right they are:

Some of my favorite stickers are scalloped, so I decided to make some for you all to enjoy!

These releases are just the beginning for the Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes Printable Shop!  I’m aiming to have September colored items along with more functional sheets ready to release the last week of August.

School Days Planner Stickers: Free Printable

Hello Planner Friends!

Summer is ending and the school year is beginning.  That’s pretty sad, but you know what’s not?!  School supplies!  I LOVE buying school supplies, so back-to-school time has always held a special place in my heart! 🙂

Sadly, I’ve graduated and won’t be going back to school this year.  Sooo I will have to live vicariously though the School Days printable I’m releasing today!

I think my favorite stickers are the colored pencils with doodles trailing behind!  I just LOVE the way those turned out!  I’m also really fond of the No. 2 pencils! 🙂

Tribal Kiss Planner Stickers: Free Printable

It’s printable time!!

I went with a pastel tribal theme this week!

I had the hardest time coming up with a name for this sheet!  I enlisted the help of a few close friends, and they came up with the “Tribal Kiss” name!  I think the name perfectly melds the arrows with the girly, pastel colors! 🙂

Summer Melons Planner Stickers: Free Printable

Here’s a better look at the printable!  I love the way it turned out!  Pink and green are two of my favorite colors, so I’m quite partial to this printable!

With the new Erin Condren LifePlanners coming out next week, you can use this printable during any month in the new Neutral colored planner option.  How cool is that?!

I’ve watched several sneak peek videos, and I think I’m going with the colored option, but I really do like certain aspects of the neutral!  Are you buying one of the new planners?!  What style and color option are you thinking of getting?  I would love to hear your opinions on the new designs!

DIY Brush Calligraphy Gift Tags

Hi everyone!

I have a super quick and easy Christmas (or any holiday) craft for you!

I was wrapping some Christmas presents in my college apartment a few days ago when I realized that I didn’t have any gift tags! Uh oh!  I quickly realized that I could easily make some tags out of sticker paper and brush pens!

Supplies:

  • Avery sticker paper
  • Colored pens or markers
  • Scissors

I’ll be using Tombow Dual Brush Pens but Crayola markers will work as well!

Green: 277

Red: 847

There are only three steps to this little craft.

  1. Write/Draw your desired names
  2. Cut out the names
  3. Stick them on your packages

Here’s a video of me demonstrating my brush lettering technique.

To achieve lettering like mine, all you have to do is apply pressure on the down stroke and release the pressure on the up stroke.  Sounds easy doesn’t it?  The steps are easy, but it takes a little bit of practice!  Definitely test out your writing on some printer paper before your start writing on the sticker paper!

Here’s the name I wrote in the video above.

The sticker paper absorbs the ink a little differently than sketchbook paper, so some of the edges are a little choppy.  I like to go back and smooth out a few of the edges.

Now we cut!

I like to cut in a wavy pattern and conform to the edges of the name.

All of the tags I’ve made so far have been for girls, so I’ve dotted every “i” and “j” with a heart.  The hearts add even more cuteness to the tags!

I’ve been placing my tags on the backs of my packages, but they’d also look quite nice on the front!
