Hello, everyone!

How is it that another month of 2017 has already gone by? It’ll be 2018 before we know it! Geez!!

September Functional Planner Stickers: Free Printable - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

I went with a slightly more vibrant purple palette for this month’s freebie! It coordinates quite nicely if I do say so myself! 🙂

I’ve been making functional printables for over a year now, so if you’re interested, here’s the freebie from last year, September Functional Planner Stickers 2016! The 2016 and 2017 theme colors are exactly the same, so if you want to use the printables together, they match perfectly.

Before I give you the sticker freebie file, there are a few things I’d like to say.  I spent a lot of time designing and creating this printable, so please be kind when you use it.

  • Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes printables are for personal use only
  • You may not re-sell, re-distribute, or claim this work as your own
  • If you post this on the Internet, please give the credit to Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes and link it back to my blog (www.pinkbowstwinkletoes.com)

Enough of the heavy stuff! Now it’s time for the fun!

I’m providing you this printable in both a PNG and PDF file format.  I’ve found that the PNG prints richer colors than the PDF.  It’s up to you which file you use though!

To download the PNG file:

  1. Click on the image above
  2. Click “view full size”
  3. Right click and save image
  4. Open saved file and print
  5. PLAN!!

If you skip step 2 and don’t click the “view full size” button, the image will save in a much smaller format and will print incorrectly.

You can download the PDF version here, PBTT September Functional Sticker Sheet 2017.

Hello, Planner Friends!

How many of you moved into your new Erin Condren LifePlanner this week?! I sure did! I’m loving the painted petals this year. They’re so very fun!

I say this every month, but this year really is flying by! It’s already half over. My goodness!

For this month’s functional freebie, I played around with textures and created an inky, watercolor look. I added in some darker navy tones along with a little bit of dark teal. I love how it all turned out!

Stamp Spotlight: Monogram

Hi everyone!

I’ve recently acquired a few really pretty stamps that I want to share with you!

IMG_6867

In the last few months, I’ve received both of these beautiful stamps as gifts!

The full monogram, rubber stamp is from my Aunt and Uncle.  They bought it for me for my birthday.  I can’t tell you how excited I was when I opened it!  I LOVE my monogram, and I love stamps.  The two together? Perfection!

If you’d like a full monogram, rubber stamp like mine, you can get one on Etsy right here.

The wooden, initial “N” stamp is from my friend, Kylie.  She bought it for me while studying abroad in London.  It’s amazing how detailed this stamp is!  So pretty!

Here’s a little sample of my stamping skills! 🙂

As you can see, I had a little bit of trouble with the wooden stamp.  The rubber is much easier to work with because it gives a little when you press down.  The wood doesn’t give, so it’s harder to stamp each and every detail.

With some practice, I know I’ll perfect the wooden stamp!

Here’s a little bit more of my full monogram!

I’m going to have to start writing some letters, so I can get some use out of my stamp!  I’m also thinking about personalizing some stationary!

I’ll be sure to let you know about any upcoming stamping projects!

Do you love stamps too?

Where are your favorite stamps from?!

How To – Carve a Rubber Stamp

Hi everyone!

My cousin gave me a stamp carving kit for Christmas, and I’m finally getting around to using it! IMG_2343IMG_2347Box Contents:

  • Design templates
  • Transfer sheet
  • Pencil
  • Block with carvable rubber sides
  • Wooden handle with five gouges
  • Ink pad

IMG_2349There are lots of fun designs to choose from!

As you might’ve guessed, I love bows, so I chose one of the bows for my first stamp! IMG_2352Lay the transfer paper over your design and trace with a pencil. IMG_2356Flip the transfer sheet (lead side down) onto the rubber block.

Rub your thumb along the transfer sheet.  The pressure from your thumb should transfer the lead onto the rubber block. IMG_2359Transfer complete! IMG_2367Load the smallest gouge into the handle.  It should just press right in. IMG_2369Use the smallest gouge to (slowly) carve around the design.

If you get going too fast, you might accidentally carve too far into your design. IMG_2373IMG_2375IMG_2378Once you’re a comfortable distance away from your design, start using the large gouges to clear away the excess rubber. IMG_2388IMG_2390IMG_2394Once you’ve trimmed the edges and cleaned it up a bit, your stamp is complete!! IMG_2395Isn’t it adorable?!

I’m in love with my new stamp!

Happy Crafting!! Bow signature pink
