Holiday Freebie: DIY Printable Valentines - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Hello, everyone!

I’m coming at y’all today with a very exciting freebie! If you’re a newsletter subscriber, then you’ve already seen these printable valentines! If not, you should sign up for my newsletter so you can get first access to releases like this!

Holiday Freebie: DIY Printable Valentines - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

This week’s adorable freebie features five printable valentines — three with honey bees and two with conversation hearts!

I love all five, but I’m partial to the honey bees! They are just TOO CUTE!!

You can sweeten up your cards by taping a piece of candy on the inside or outside of each valentine! Actual conversation hearts are an acquired taste so I wouldn’t suggest those but they would go quite nicely with the second set of cards! 🙂

Holiday Freebie: DIY Printable Valentines - Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes

Before I give you the freebie file, there are a few things I’d like to say.  I spent a lot of time designing and creating this printable, so please be kind when you use it.

  • Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes printables are for personal use only
  • You may not re-sell, re-distribute, or claim this work as your own
  • If you post this on the Internet, please give the credit to Pink Bows & Twinkle Toes and link it back to my blog (www.pinkbowstwinkletoes.com)

Enough of the heavy stuff! Now it’s time for the fun! For best results, I recommend printing these cuties on cardstock.

I’m providing you this printable in both a PNG and PDF file format.  I’ve found that the PNG prints richer colors than the PDF.  It’s up to you which file you use though!

To download the PNG file on desktop:

  1. Click on the image above
  2. Click “view full size”
  3. Right click and save image
  4. Open saved file and print
  5. ENJOY!!

If you skip step 2 and don’t click the “view full size” button, the image will save in a much smaller format and will print incorrectly.

You can download the PDF version here, PBTT Printable Valentines.

Don’t forget to tag me in any and all Instagram posts featuring my printables! (@pinkbowstwinkletoes and #pinkbowstwinkletoes)  I would love to see how you’re using them! :)

I’ll be back again soon with more printable fun!

IMG_8341

Eyeshadow 101 – Warm Gold Shimmer

This eyeshadow stick is a crème to powder formula!  I have two other Eyeshadow 101s and a very similar product from Nars.

IMG_8344

Each Eyeshadow 101 stick has shadow on one end and a smudger tool on the other.

I like how this product has a smudger on one end!  It makes blending the shadow so easy!

IMG_8346

I went ahead and swatched the shadow for you.

I know my hand looks rather red in the picture, but I have very fair skin!

The gold shadow has a great shimmer to it but isn’t to harsh for me!  I love it!

IMG_8336

Nail Polishes

Meghan – Classic With a Twist – Flaming Red Crème

Shortly after opening my box, I painted my toes with this beautiful red polish!

I would classify this red to be more orangey and less of a true red.  I still love it though!

It really POPS against my skin tone and is perfect for springtime!

Kay – Classic With a Twist – Warm Taupe With Gold Microshimmer

I haven’t used this polish yet, but I think it’s going to be a great neutral for me! I really love its subtle shimmer!

Perhaps I’ll paint my toenails with Kay when Meghan chips off!

IMG_8332

Here is this month’s quote and coupon!

As always, the coupon is good for two uses!  The expiration date is a little different though!  This coupon doesn’t expire until April 15th!  What a deal?!

I’m very pleased with my February box!  I’ve already used two out of the three products!

Julep Maven Review & Coupon: January 2016

Hi everyone!

It’s time for my monthly Julep Maven review!

IMG_7443

To receive a fun box of goodies each month like I do, click here!

IMG_7450

Box Contents:

  • Tali – It Girl – Glacier Breeze Linear Liquid Holographic
  • Marika – Boho Glam – Stone Matte Metallic
  • It’s Balm – Full-Coverage Lip Crayon – Dusty Orchid Shimmer
  • Junior Mints
  • Coupon

I ate the little box of Junior Mints while writing this post! Yummy! 🙂

IMG_7458

I didn’t go with the Classic With a Twist box like I usually do.  Based on the fact that one of my polishes is It Girl and the other is Boho Glam, I’m not exactly sure what box I went with!

Tali – It Girl – Glacier Breeze Linear Liquid Holographic

I absolutely love this color!  I have it painted on my toes right now!

The dusty blue shimmer is perfect for the winter time!

Marika – Boho Glam – Stone Matte Metallic

This metallic is beautiful as well!

I haven’t used it yet, but I’m thinking of painting my fingernails with it tomorrow afternoon!

IMG_7461

It’s Balm – Full-Coverage Lip Crayon – Dusty Orchid Shimmer

I’ve gotten at least one other It’s Balm product before.  I might’ve even gotten two!

The formula is fantastic and very moisturizing!

IMG_7462

The color of this lip crayon is Dusty Orchid Shimmer.  Because of the “Orchid” part of the name, I was expecting it to be a tad bit darker.

Don’t get me wrong, the color is great! It just wasn’t what I was expecting!

IMG_7455

Here is the quote and coupon for January!  The Dr. Seuss quote is so whimsical and fun!

A free lipstick coupon? So exciting!  Unfortunately, I’m trying to cut back on my lip product purchases right now.  I have so many that I really don’t need any new ones just yet!

I have no complaints about the January box!  All the products and colors are fantastic!

Julep Maven Review & Coupon: December 2015

Hi everyone!

It’s time for my monthly Julep Maven review!

IMG_6757

The new packaging is pretty, but I think I like the old, solid purple boxes better. Oh well!

IMG_6775

Box Contents:

  • Judy – Boho Glam – Moonbeam Iridescent Chrome
  • Virginia – Boho Glam – Mahogany Iridescent Molten
  • It’s Whipped – Matte Lip Mousse – Bisou
  • Cinnamon Candy Stick
  • Coupon

IMG_6773

I wasn’t in love with the Classic With a Twist polishes this month, so I decided to go with the Boho Glam ones instead!

Virginia – Boho Glam – Mahogany Iridescent Molten

In the bottle, this polish looks more burgundy than brown, so I was a little disappointed when I opened it. The polish is still very pretty!  It’s just not the color I expected!

Judy – Boho Glam – Moonbeam Iridescent Chrome

I absolutely love this polish!  I’m wearing it on both my fingers and my toes right now!  It’s super pretty, shimmery, and fun!

I’ve gotten tons of compliments on it too! 🙂

IMG_6768

It’s Whipped – Matte Lip Mousse – Bisou – Modern Mauve

I love the color of this lip product!  It’s perfect for me!

The formula is quite a bit different from the lip products I usually use, but I still like it.

Julep was pretty excited about their new curved applicator tip.  I’m not sure that I like it though.  I find it more difficult to control the amount of product your using.  With some practice, I’m sure I’ll get used to it!

I have a really hard time with lip color actually lasting, and thankfully, this product lasts a long time for me!  Yay!

IMG_6766

Here is the December quote and coupon!

A free polish?! Don’t mind if I do!

I’m very happy with my box this month!  The products and colors are fantastic!  I’m pretty excited about the cinnamon candy too! 🙂

  • Eyeshadow 101 – Taupe Shimmer
  • Jocelyn – Classic With a Twist – Cranberry Shimmer with Holographic Microglitter
  • Arielle – Classic With a Twist – Smoked Fig Crème

Eyeshadow 101

The featured makeup product for the October box are these cream-to-powder eyeshadow sticks!

I love the other cream-to-powder Julep product I have, so I was super excited when they came out with these!

IMG_5552Champagne Shimmer

Each stick comes with the shadow on one end and a smudger on the other.

This shadow color is a great neutral!  The champagne color is so pretty and perfect for day or night!

They’re a little hard to use with my daily eyeshadow primer, so I’ve been going without on the days that I wear them.  Other than that, they are great!

IMG_5555Taupe Shimmer

I decided to add this shadow on to my box this month.

I like to use this darker shadow in my crease and use the lighter on my lid.  They look very pretty together!

The smudger is great for making sure the shadow isn’t too dark in my crease!

IMG_5534Jocelyn – Classic With a Twist – Cranberry Shimmer with Holographic Microglitter

I have this polish painted on my fingers right now, and it’s so pretty!

It’s a little dark for the Florida weather right now, but in a few weeks, it should be perfect!

Arielle – Classic With a Twist – Smoked Fig Crème

This polish is also pretty and fall-y!

I think it’s going to look great on my toes!

IMG_5545Here’s this month’s quote and coupon!

Free polish! Wooo!!

I love the October Maven box!  The products are awesome and so are the colors!

POPSUGAR Must Have Review – June 2015

Hi everyone!

It’s time for my monthly POPSUGAR Must Have review! IMG_0672To receive fun goodies each month like I do, click here!! IMG_2421I didn’t have enough self-control to avoid the spoilers for this box! Whoopsie! 🙂 IMG_2522Each box comes with a card full of details on each product. IMG_2422Box Contents:

  • Spongellé – Boxed Flowers – Fleur en Boîte
  • Yogitoes – Peacock hBand
  • Pacifica – Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette
  • Quay Australia – Mandate Sunglasses
  • Judy Blume’s In the Unlikely Event
  • SNAP Infusion – SUPERCANDY
  • Sweet & Spark – $30 Gift Card

IMG_2494Spongellé – Boxed Flowers – Fleur en Boîte – Retail Value $16

I absolutely LOVE this body wash infused sponge!  It smells amazing and the flower shape is adorable!

The sponge is a little rough, which makes it perfect for exfoliating!

I have a feeling that I will continue to use the sponge even after all the soap washes out! IMG_2502Yogitoes – Peacock hBand – Retail Value $4

I think this headband is adorable! I never wear exercise headbands though, so I was a little self-conscious when I wore it to the gym.  My friend, Lindsey, said I looked cute, but I’m still on the fence!

I’ll have to give it another try and see if I like it better the second time! IMG_2510Pacifica – Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette – Retail Value $14

I love eyeshadow palettes, but unfortunately, only one of these shadow colors works for me.

I like the shadow on the far left, but the others are just too dark or oddly colored for my skin tone.

I’ll have to see if these shadows work for any of my friends! IMG_2505Quay Australia – Mandate Sunglasses – Retail Value $45

Like most girls, I can always use another spare pair of sunglasses!

I was surprised with how lightweight these are, and I love that they came with their own protective case. IMG_2516Judy Blume’s In the Unlikely Event – Retail Value $27.95

I’ve read the plot summary several times, and this sounds like a good beach read (or just a laying on the couch read!)

I’ve been reading on a Kindle for almost five years now, so I have a feeling my hand will cramp when I start reading this book!  So pathetic, but it will! IMG_2497SNAP Infusion – SUPERCANDY – Retail Value $4

I already ate the green, sour pack, and the candies were very yummy!

I really like the idea of a “healthy” candy! IMG_2487Sweet & Spark – $30 Gift Card

I don’t typically like it when my subscription boxes come with gift cards, but this gift card is the exception!

Sweet & Spark is online site that sales curated vintage jewelry.  How cool is that?!

I’ve found several pieces that I like, so I need to hurry up and purchase one before they sell out.  There’s only one of each item, so it’s very possible that they could sell out of everything I like if I don’t act quickly! IMG_2431Aside from the funky eyeshadow colors, I’d say that June was a hit!

The total retail value of this box is $140.95!  That’s a great value!

I can’t wait to see what July has to offer!

Ipsy Review – October 2014

Hi everyone!

It’s time for my monthly Ipsy review!

DSCN3376Do you want to be an Ipsy subscriber?! Click here!!

DSCN3384I was rather disappointed in Ipsy this month.  There were very few brands that I’d even heard of being offered for October.

One of my favorite things to do is stalk Facebook at the beginning of the month to see the sneak peeks.  All of the sneak peeks for October made me sad.

I’m also not a huge fan of the makeup bag this month.  I like the color, but the material is very cheap.

Products:

  • Épicé International – Purifying Exfoliant
  • Figs & Rouge – Hand Cream
  • Jesse’s Girl – Mineralized Baked Shadow Powder
  • Starlooks – Lip Gloss
  • ECRU New York – Acacia Protein BB Cream – Beauty Balm for Hair

DSCN3388The October theme is “Beauty Candy.”  I’m not sure what classified these products as candy though.

DSCN3390Épicé International – Purifying Exfoliant

I’m a very loyal product user and I already have a daily exfoliant.  I probably won’t be trying this product.  I will see if one of my friends want it though!

DSCN3407Figs & Rouge – Hand Cream – Mango Mandarin

I absolutely love this colorful packaging!  It’s so fun and pretty!

The Mango Mandarin scent is okay.  The smell is very familiar, but I just can’t place it!

Out of the five products I received this month, this hand cream is my favorite.

DSCN3397Jesse’s Girl – Mineralized Baked Shadow Powder – Graphite Frost

I love eyeshadow, but I am not a huge fan of this color.

I prefer golds and browns and this one is a silvery gray.  It’s a step up from the purple shadow I got last month though!

DSCN3405Starlooks – Lip Gloss – Guilty Pleasure

This gloss reminds me of the NYX Butter Gloss I received in my first Ipsy bag over the summer.  Except the NYX gloss was larger and I liked it better.

DSCN3413ECRU New York – Acacia Protein BB Cream – Beauty Balm for Hair

Before getting this product, I didn’t realize that there was such a things as BB cream for hair.

The box says it’s a styling lotion.  I don’t ever do anything with my hair, so I don’t think I’ll be getting much use out of this product either.

DSCN3418All in all, I’m pretty disappointed with my October Ipsy bag.

I’ve seen a promising sneak peek for November, so let’s hope that pans out!

How did you like your October Ipsy?!
