Somehow, the month is quickly coming to a close, which means it’s time for my October Favorites! This month, I’m featuring the cutest (and comfiest) fall shoes, tech that you probably already own, and another fun read!
October Favorites
The Heir Affair (The Royal We Book 2) by Heather Cocks & Jessica Morgan
In my September Favorites post, I shared that I had recently read The Royal We and enjoyed it quite a bit! So after finishing that book, I dove right into the sequel, The Heir Affair. While the majority of the first is written in flashbacks, I think almost all of the second takes place in real-time, which I liked quite a bit. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with a good flashback, but too many can get confusing.
The second book is full of what I would consider to be a few twists and turns but also has all the humor I came to expect after reading the first one! All in all, a fun read and great alternative to Netflix! (Although Netflix is great too!)

Apple AirPods with Charging Case
As I mentioned above, you likely already have AirPods if you’re at all interested in them! In my true grandma fashion, I was late to adopt this tech. However, I will say I’m a big fan now that I have them!
I’ve been using my AirPods quite a bit to talk on the phone while walking my dog or to listen to music while running and exercising. I’m currently working from home (and rarely use headphones in a professional capacity), but I can just imagine how handy these babies will be when I go back to the office!!
Since I’m a self-proclaimed (and proclaimed by others) grandma, I went with the most basic version but have heard great things about the wireless charging and Pro versions as well.
The Point in Wildcat by Rothy’s
Talk about the perfect fall shoe! Are these wildcat flats not the cutest shoes?! I’ve had my eyes on these cuties for months and finally decided to pull the trigger in September, and I’m so glad I did!
If you’ve never tried Rothy’s before, they are the comfiest and cutest shoes that are sustainable and machine washable. The machine-washable aspect is a game-changer for me! I have my eyes on some of their white sneakers and the only reason I’m considering them is because I know I can throw them in the wash when they get dirty!
Anywho, I look forward to styling my wildcat flats with black and blue denim, chunky sweaters, the occasional skirt and more this fall! I also have a pair of their Mary Janes (in black) and am equally excited to be busting those out this fall too!
