DIY Hand Embroidery – Cursive Name

Hi everyone!

I love writing my name, so I decided to embroider my name on some pretty fabric!

Supplies:

• Fabric (I got mine at Jo Ann’s.  Isn’t it beautiful?!)
• Embroidery hoop
• Embroidery floss
• Pencil
• Needle

DMC Floss Color:

• 451 – grayish brown (I promise it matches in real life!)

Start by writing your name (or the name of your friend 🙂 ) on the fabric.

Just Back Stitch over the pencil lines.

This project is super easy but also very pretty!

Finish off the Back Stitch and dot your I’s (or J’s) with a French Knot.

I love how this project is super quick but turns out so pretty and thoughtful (such a good gift idea!)
