Hi everyone!
I have another little phrase embroidery project to share! 
Supplies:
- Embroidery hoop
- Embroidery floss
- Fabric (mine is from Jo Ann’s)
- Printed phrase
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pencil
DMC Floss Color:
- 917 – magenta
Start by printing out your desired phrase.
I chose the word “smile” and used a script font I had on my computer.
Use your pencil to trace the word onto your fabric. 
Start Back Stitching the word.
As you can see, I left some space where the lines intersect and where the letters meet.
Later on, we’re going to be adding another row (or two) of the Back Stitch, so we’re going to need that extra space to work with. 
Once our first row of the Back Stitch is complete, we’re going to move on to the second row. 
As you can see, I stitched right next to my original Back Stitch.
I still left some space between the “L” and the “E” because we will be adding a third row of the Back Stitch there at the end. 
Once the second row of the Back Stitch is complete, we’re going to add a third row to the left side of each letter. 
We’re trying to make our stitching look as close to the original font as possible. 
Once the Back Stitching is complete, we’re going to dot our “I” with the Satin Stitch.
Start by outlining the dot. 
Once the dot is outlined, we’re going to Satin Stitch over it.
Once the “I” is dotted, our project is complete! 
I love how this turned out!
