Julep Maven Review & Coupon – November 2014

My November box came in two shipments.

Julep had some trouble with the Go Big mascara, so they sent it separately and added 950 Jules to my account!

November featured “The Friendsgiving Collection.”  I like the name, but I’m not sure what these colors have to do with Thanksgiving.

When I think Thanksgiving, I think orange, yellow, and pumpkins.  None of those characteristics are present here!

Shari – Classic with a Twist – Delicate Sweet Pea Crème

I don’t like this polish color at all.  It’s a very dull pink that would look horrible with my fair skin.  I try to stay away from white-based polishes.  I prefer brighter, richer colors.

Devon – Classic with a Twist – Slate Gray with Fuchsia Microshimmer

This polish is very pretty.  It looks a lot different when it’s applied to your nails than it does in the bottle.

I used it several days ago, and it dried a dark, pretty gray.  I didn’t notice any shimmer on my nails though.  Maybe I wasn’t in the right lighting?

Go Big Volumizing Mascara

I’m always willing to try a new mascara!

I’ve never used a mascara with such a small brush before. It was a little weird at first, but it seems to work nicely!

I’ll have to use it a few more times before I make a final decision on it!

I love that Julep now includes a coupon in every box!
