Now on to my review!

This March, Julep focused on spring colors with The Riviera Collection.

After seeing the March preview, I was pretty excited for this box!  As usual, I got the Classic with a Twist.  I limited myself this month and only added on one item!

My March box included:

  • Lip Gloss in Fearless
  • Gilliam Candy Company Stick Candy in Cotton Candy
  • Three Nail Polishes: Myriam, Soraphine, and Tania

Lip Gloss

Fearless – Sheer silvery pink shimmer

This month I chose to change the gloss color that came with my Classic with a Twist box.  I can’t remember what color the box was supposed to come with, but I changed it to Fearless because I thought it was prettier and more fun than the original shade I was offered.

I tried the lip gloss on last night, and I think I’m going to like it!  The lighting is terrible in my bathroom (yikes!), so I can’t tell how pigmented the gloss is.  I will say this though, I ate some Jello after applying the gloss (strawberry kiwi, YUM!!), and the gloss was very pink on my spoon!

Gilliam Candy Company Stick Candy

This month’s box came with a fun little candy stick! The stick is cotton candy flavored, so I’m not quite sure if I’ll enjoy it!  I’ll certainly try it though!  If I don’t like it, I’ll probably give it to my best friend, Kylie. (You met her in my post about Savannah)

From left to right, we have Myriam, Tania, and Soraphine.  Myriam and Soraphine came in my box this month.  I chose Tania as one of my add-ons.

Myriam (Classic with a Twist) – Casino red crème

Tania (Bombshell) – Multidimensional mermaid teal glitter

Soraphine (Classic with a Twist) – Classic sheer white crème

My toes are currently painted with Myriam.  I love the red color!  It’s very bright and perfect for Spring!

Several weeks ago, Julep pinned a really pretty nail idea on Pinterest that involved Tania and Soraphine.  I tried to recreate that look on my fingernails last night.  It was a massive failure!! I couldn’t find the original picture, so I was working from memory and it didn’t work out as well as I was hoping it would!  Since then, I have found the picture and will try to paint them again tonight!  If I have any success, I will be sure to post about it!

Overall, I am very pleased with the March box!  I can’t wait to see what comes out next month!

In the meantime, I’m trying to resist buying The Lucky Mystery Box that Julep is currently offering! The temptation is strong, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist!  The good news is, I have lots of Jules (reward points), so my April box will be free!

I’m going to go paint my finger nails now! Let’s hope the results are better this time than last time!!
